Bruno Mars honored as Billboard Artist of the year

Bruno Mars was named Billboard's Artist of the Year of 2013.

Mars' successful release on Atlantic Records titled 'Unorthodox Jukebox,' released end of 2012, stayed present on the Billboard 200 till September. The album sold over 1.8 million copies worldwide and reached the top of the chart in its 12th week.

Three singles from the album, namely "Locked Out of Heaven," "When I Was Your Man," including "Treasure," made it to the top 10. Both, "Locked Out of Heaven," and ballad "When I Was Your Man," hit the number one position.

Mars' 'Moonshine Jungle' world-wide tour which started June 22 was a success. The tour didn't end yet! 'Moonshine Jungle' tour will resume again early next year. On February 28, Mars will kick off the chain of concerts in Australia and New Zealand starting with his performance in Perth, then in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.

Mars will then continue the tour in Asia visiting Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
