Taylor Swift gets Golden Globe nomination for "Sweeter than Fiction," from 'One Chance'
Country music favorite Taylor Swift, received Golden Globe nomination in the category Best Original Song-Motion Picture, for a soundtrack "Sweeter than Fiction," from the movie 'One Chance.'

Nominees for the 71st Golden Globe were announced on Thursday morning at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The nominations were revealed by Aziz Ansari, Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana.

'One Chance' movie is based on a true story of Paul Potts who became a star after his audition for 'Britain's Got Talent,' where he wowed the audience as well as judges with his incredible voice.

Swift, who will celebrate her 24th birthday tomorrow, December 13, co-wrote the song with guitarist Jack Antonoff. In the clip featuring behind the scenes, Taylor mentioned that she was inspired by Potts' struggles and triumphs.

"Getting to see the struggles and triumphs of someone who was chasing what he was after really inspired me," she said.
"It's a beautiful movie and I just wanted to share it with as many people as I could," added Taylor.

"Sweeter than Fiction" was the first new song from Swift since the successful release of her latest album 'Red,' which dropped October 2012. Taylor is currently on Red Tour promoting her latest record.
Grammy winner Taylor Swift was nominated for Golden Globe awards last year with the song "Safe & Sound" with The Civil Wars. Last year, however she lost to Adele's "Skyfall."

Movie 'One Chance' tells the story of a shy man Paul Potts who was a bullied, worked as a shop assistant, however had a dream to sing opera professionally.
English stage, television and film actor James Corden, a winner of BAFTA, stars in the movie as Potts. The movie directed by David Frankel who directed 'The Devil Wears Prada,' 'Marley & Me,' also stars Julie Walters from 'Mamma Mia!,' Mackenzie Crook from 'The Pirates of the Caribbean,' and rising star Alexandra Roach from 'The Iron Lady.'

The movie released in the middle of October in the United States and end of October in the United Kingdom.
Other Golden Globe nominees in Best Original Song-Motion Pictures are Coldplay for "Atlas" from the movie 'Hunger Games Catching Fire,' song "Let It God" performed by Idina Menzel," U2's "Ordinary Love" from 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,' and Justin Timberlake for the song "Please Mr Kennedy" from 'Inside Llewyn Davis.'
