The Bronx Bombers will look to protect their home field against their crosstown interleague rival, the New York Mets after the Amazin's swept the Yankees last year for the first time in Subway Series history.

Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, the Yankees lost to the Milwaukee Brewers by 6-5, with Yankees' reliever Adam Warren taking the loss.

Yankees are hopeful their pitcher Hiroki Kuroda (2-3) will outduel former Yankee hurler Bartolo Colon tonight in the Bronx.

"I think people get very excited about it," said Yankees skipper Joe Girardi to reporters. "I think sometimes people might consider the intensity level to be higher where people are in the standings. But when you get in the ballpark, it's pretty intense."

The Mets are looking to upset the Yankees Monday night, after Mets lefty pitcher Scott Rice got the win in relief versus the Phillies yesterday 5-4.

Mets veteran starter Bartolo Colon (2-5) looks to outperform Yankees starting pitcher Hiroki Kuroda when the two men oppose each other this evening.

"I think it will be a fun four days coming up [versus the Yankees]," said Mets skipper Terry Collins to reporters.
