Let's go to Yankee Stadium for Tuesday night MLB 2013 action and see the New York Yankees hosting the Texas Rangers tonight at 7:05 PM ET. How about what's bound to be another memorable duel between Yankees ace Hiroki Kuroda hosting Rangers phenom Yu Darvish.

It's only the eighth time in MLB history has two Japanese pitchers started against one another. Kuroda and Darvish were also the 7^th time as well.

Though the Yankees and Rangers are expected to make the 2013 playoffs, neither team is playing particularly good ball as of late. In June, Texas is no. 11 in the American League with .669 OPS. The Yankees are the worst in the American League with .604 OPS this June. Both teams are struggling to put runs on the board.

The Rangers are clearly missing Michael Young and Josh Hamilton in the lineup while the Yankees laundry list of injured players is too long to count. Key Yankees hitters like Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira have been out of the lineup for most of the year.

It was a low scoring the last time these two pitchers squared off, with hardly any hits allowed. Darvish has had an exceptional season for the Ranger while Kuroda started out strong his first two months of the season but has started to struggle for the Yankees in June. Kuroda has given up more hits than innings pitched in 3 of his 4 games in June.
