Xbox Two Release Date News, Rumors: Next-Generation Console Expected To Be Launched In June

Along with talks about resolution and Windows 10 support, Microsoft is rumored to launch the Xbox Two next month.

According to Vine Report, the Xbox Two is set to be launched in June this year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, also known as E3 2016. As per the publication, the much-anticipated gaming console is assumed to be either the fully upgraded Xbox Two or the mid-cycle upgraded called the Xbox 1.5, read as "One and a half."

Microsoft is rumored to be preparing to launch full upgrade Xbox Two at the E3 2016 while Sony is believed to launch the PlayStation 4.5 or the PlayStation 4 Neo sometime in September. These details stemmed out after both companies had been rumored to be working on newer iterations of their present gaming consoles.

Xbox Two is more feasible than the Xbox 1.5, based on Xbox head Phil Spencer's statement in April. As cited by Game Spot, Spencer said that he was not a big fan of Xbox One and a half, adding that if they were going to move forward, he wanted to move forward in big numbers.

According to Spencer, the Xbox was doing well, performed, reliable, adding that the servers were doing well. The Xbox head emphasized that he wanted a substantial change for people f they were going to move forward with anything.

The Xbox Two is set to be at par with Sony's PlayStation 4, according to Ecumenical News. As per the publication, the console is also set to have a 4K resolution, in addition to virtual reality support, and Windows 10 compatibility. Moreover, the device is rumored to include an AMD chipset and use Steam instead of disk drives.

Overall, the Xbox Two is expected to be launched in June.
