Xbox One VS PS4: Who Had the Better Launch Day?
The Xbox One and the PS4 are now both officially available for sale, and business is booming. Both consoles sold over 1 million units on their opening days, a record for both Microsoft and Sony. However, the launch days were not without their problems. So lets take a look at each products official 24 hour launch day and midnight release and see who had a better release.
The PS4 and Xbox One both had a few minor hardware problems that affected a small percentage of the units sold. The PS4 suffered from the Blue Light of Death, an ailment that rendered the PS4 useless. Sony offered to quickly replace any PS4s that suffered from the Blue Light of Death.
The Xbox One had one minor hardware issue that affected consoles. The disc drive in a few Xbox Ones was faulty and made a grinding noise whenever a game or movie was inserted.
Both the PS4 and the Xbox One are completely sold out worldwide and both Microsoft and Sony are telling customers that there will not be any more available for sale until after the New Year.
There are several places where you can buy a "new" Xbox One or PS4 online, but the prices are insanely high and are often scams.
