Xbox One Problems and Solutions, Fixes and Latest Information
In a recent sales report by Sony, they have reportedly sold 7 million units worldwide, while the Xbox One is lags behind at 5 million units. This comes as no surprise since just a few weeks after its release, the Microsoft console is already facing hardware problems.
Most of the problems can be fixed temporarily before an official update for the console comes from Microsoft. The problems and corresponding fixes can be found on this blog linked here.
One of these problems involves the new Kinect 2 sensor that comes with the Xbox One. The sensor allows users to play a few select games using voice recognition and bodily gestures.
Generally, the solution can be achieved by making sure that the Xbox is running on the latest software. Making sure that the sensor is firmly plugged in is also recommended as well as configuring the sensor to the current room where the Xbox is located.
Another problem with the Xbox One is when it randomly turns off by itself and refuses to turn on again. Fixya recommends checking that the connections are attached firmly and securely. Making sure that the console is not overheating is also recommended as well as checking on whether the power brick is displaying a solid light and not a blinking one.
A slew of other problems continue to plague the Xbox One, but it does not necessarily affect the Microsoft console alone. The Playstation 4 and the Wii U also experience technical problems, all of which are posted on the Fixya website.
