Xbox One Bundle Sales at Target; Best Buy Offers 15 Percent off on Gaming Accessories

Xbox One bundles are available at Target with a free year of Xbox Live, and there is a 15 percent off discount at Best Buy for accessories.

According to Polygon, the standard edition bundle comes with Forza Motorsport 5 or Titanfall along with a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live Gold for $449.99. These bundles include the headset, a controller, and the Kinect. This same bundle is available on the Microsoft Store website as well.

In addition, Target is running a buy two get one free video game promotion with the rest of their consoles.

Meanwhile, Best Buy is having a 15 percent sale on video game accessories across multiple platforms. The discount kicks in with the purchase of a pre-owned or pre-ordered game.

Last month, the Xbox One was $399 on Amazon when using the XIAMAZON code for a limited time. Also, $50 was slashed off the console in both Target and Walmart.

Microsoft recently announced they are possibly working on a way to emulate Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One.

In a recent AMA session on Yabbly, co-founder of the Xbox project, Ed Fries, revealed how he thought the Xbox One was going to overtake the PS4.

"They need better exclusive games than PS4," Fries said when asked how the company's sales could improve. "They need to be more open to indie developers. They need to adopt free-to-play gaming more aggressively. They need to continue to move Xbox Live forward as the leading online service. They need to show people why they included the new Kinect on every machine by demonstrating a compelling use for it."

The executive continued, and spoke on what he thought this generation of consoles was going to bring to the table. He believes the winner will come from the console who makes the best user experiences for their owners.
