Xbox Games with Gold List, September 2014: 'Super Time Force', 'Halo: Reach', 'Crimson Dragon'
Microsoft has finally released the list of games that will available for free download for the month of September to all Xbox Games with Gold subscribers. Players with a membership will be able to keep the games permanently on their Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles, even after September ends.
Last month, 'Crimson Dragon' was put up on the list for free download, and it will remain posted for a few weeks into the month of September. In this game, players are able to ride six different kinds of dragons into battle, and customize them as they complete various missions.
Starting September 1 'Super Time Force' will be available for download on the Xbox 360 console for Xbox Games with Gold members. However, that's not the only game that's going to be available that has fans excited.
'Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine' will also be available on the system starting September 1, but there's a catch. This game will only be available until September 15, so Gold members would be wise to download this one as soon as it's the first of the month.
'Monaco' is a stealth-puzzle type game that can be played with up to four friends, but the levels can be completed alone if a gamer was so inclined.
Last but not least, 'Halo: Reach' will be free on Xbox 360 starting September 16 and run all the way through to the end of the month, September 30. As many gamers will already know, this game is a prequel to the Master Chief games in the series, and that it's the most recent 'Halo' game currently out there.
On a side note, Xbox 360 players will be able to keep the games they downloaded with their Games with Gold memberships, even if they cancel their subscriptions. However, Xbox One members will not be allowed to access their console's games if they decide to stop paying the monthly fee.
Also, remember to grab August's free games while you still can, if you haven't already.
