X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer 2014 Video, Cast Rumors and Plot Spoilers: Biggest Marvel Assemble Ever

Even two weeks before its debut in theaters on May 23, X-Men: Days of Future Past is already being predicted to become one of the highest grossing films in Hollywood ever.

The sequel to X-Men: First Class unites the largest number of Marvel superheroes in the history of X-Men. Days of Future Past will see the characters send Wolverine back in time to fight it out to change the past in order to save the future.

20th Century Fox's X-Men: Days of Future Past has managed to maintain a cast featuring a host of the original actors and actresses from the movie franchise including Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, and Daniel Cudmore.  The film will also include X-Men: First Class franchise members James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicolas Hoult, and Michael Fasbender.

Avenger's Quicksilver is also speculated to join the latest X-Men cast for a introductory role, as well as a little girl who is presumed to later become the Scarlet Witch. However, director Bryan Singer denies that this is the case.

The film will also seek to address noticeable gaps from previous X-Men films such as Charles Xavier's bullet accident that caused his disability. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Professor X was shown without any walking disability in contrast with what was presented in First Class. This seeming mistake will be explained in the new movie by showing him undergoing surgery to regain the use of his legs.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set in 1973 when Wolverine and the rest of the league travel through time to battle Sentinels invading the Earth.
