'X-Men Apocalypse' News, Rumors: Jennifer Lawrence & Nicholas Hoult Asked to Do Intimate Scene in New Film?

The 'X-men' franchise is set to enter into a new timeline for its next installment, 'Apocalypse'. However, things have come up from the past to haunt Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence.

Just like their reel personas Mystique and Beast who had off again on again relationship in comic books, things may have gotten awkward for both actors when asked to make an intimate scene together.

While there is not much known about the plot of the new 'X-Men' movie, we know that 'Apocalypse' will be the main antagonist in the new movie. It will be set in the younger days of Prof. Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr following the changed events at the end of 'X-Men: Days of The Future Past'.

Simon Kinberg, screen writer and producer of 'Days of the Future Past', recently revealed that because Beast and Mystique had very little time together in the previous movie, they are planning to give them an expansive storyline in 'Apocalypse'.

It is interesting to know that the two ex-lovers met for the first time on the set of 'X-Men: First Class' and started seeing each other during the production. Although, in August this year, both agreed to end their relationship due to busy schedules and work.

"Earlier this year that seemed like a great idea, but now they've split and it's too late to rewrite the script," according to The Sun, "They are very professional of course, and will make it work."

Nicholas Hoult has also spoken about Lawrence's photo leak scandal recently, coming forward in her support. "It's shocking that thing like that happen in the world. It's a shame."

On a side note, the other relationship which will be deeply explored in the movie is the friendship between Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto.
