WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Air Date, News: Seth Rollins and John Cena to Feature

On Monday, The Authority revealed that Seth Rollins will join Brock Lesnar and John Cena in a match at WWE Royal Rumble 2015.

The news was confirmed on Twitter by WWE as they posted a picture of the three wrestlers and wrote: "AT @WWE #RoyalRumble: #WorldHvtChamp @BrockLesnar faces @JohnCena and @WWERollins in #TripleThreat! #RAW."

Aside from Rollins, fan-favorite Daniel Bryan will join the rumble after his hiatus due to a knee surgery. Bryan's comeback made fans excited since he won the title at WrestleMania XXX.

On that note, Roman Reigns was also announced for the match. Reigns comes from a skilled family of wrestlers including WWE superstar The Rock

Wrestling enthusiasts claim that WWE plans to let Reigns win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31. However, the lack of excitement from the crowd worried the WWE Creatives.

Reigns has also been compared to Cena and other wrestlers, but he said that he is focused on making himself better. In an interview with WNS Podcast, the wrestler expressed his thoughts on the comparison saying that he knows where he is headed and he is not interested in becoming somebody that he is not.

There are also speculations that Chris Jericho will make a comeback on the WWE Royal Rumble 2015. Jericho will be on Philadelphia on the same day of the rumble. During his podcast "Talk is Jericho," listeners asked if he would host the Q&A after the match and Jericho said yes, but did not confirm if he will join the actual wrestling show.
