WWE Network Launch: App Not Available on Xbox One Until Summer, No Word on Wii U Compatibility

The WWE Network app is now available on PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360, but not the Xbox One and Wii U.

WWE Network launched yesterday for multiple platforms, and is offering ground breaking programming and content with over 30 years of history. For just $9.99 a month, WWE diehards can have access to virtually every single wrestling match and PPV ever, including the weekly live events and monthly pay per view events.

"WWE Network is a 24/7 streaming service with scheduled programming and an on-demand library. Also includes lives pay-per-view events including WrestleMania 30, groundbreaking original series, reality shows and much more," the WWE YouTube channel wrote in a trailers desscription.

Users can stream the WWE Network on their televisions through the PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360. The network can be used as an app on smartphones, tablets, computers and laptops as well.

According to Gamespot, the Xbox One will be getting the app in the summer, and the Wii U was never mentioned in the plans at all.
