Tonight's episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw takes place live at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

On tonight's episode, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is expected to make his return and confront John Cena before they face off in a long awaited title rematch at the Royal Rumble PPV event (next month).

Last night, Cena retained his No.1 contender status after he defeated 'Mr. Money in the Bank' Seth Rollins in a Tables match, after (this year's Slammy Awards) 'Superstar of the Year' winner Roman Reigns returned and assaulted Rollins and The Big Show in order to secure the victory for the former 'Doctor of Thuganmonics'.

In addition, Dean Ambrose lost to Bray Wyatt at the TLC main event match, after the former 'Wyatt Family' leader hit his 'Sister Abagail' finisher on 'The Lunatic Fringe' superstar (who was temporarily blinded when a TV monitor exploded in his face).

Former WWE Tag Team Champions the Usos suffered the defeat to the newest Tag Team title holders The Miz & Damien Mizdow in a rematch at the aforementioned PPV.

Also at the TLC PPV, Dolph Ziggler defeated Luke Harper to become a four-time WWE Intercontinental Champion in an epic Ladder Match.

Future WWE Hall of Famer 'Y2J' Chris Jericho returns to guest host tonight's episode of Raw, where he might host his long running talk show 'The Highlight Reel'.

The upcoming Royal Rumble PPV event airs Sunday, January 25, 2015 from the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA on the WWE Network at 8:00 pm.
