Apple WWDC Conference: New iOS 7, Expect iRadio, Preview of iPhone 5S & iPad 5, iPad Mini 2?
Today is the day that Apple heads and the tech world have been waiting for.
In a few hours we will have many more answers on if Apple is going to stay on top as the tech giant they have been, or if their innovation is lacking and competition is getting in closer.
Apple's stock has been falling and with their WWDC conference starting today and their keynote address, CEO Tim Cook and his team have high pressure to WOW the crowd in the room and the world watching online to see if Apple has not lost its innovative edge when they lost their leader Steve Jobs.
The new iOS 7 will definitely be introduced today and they will unveil if there are any new features or tricks that can really make the upgrade a game changer. It is expected to have a new layout and look to it as compared to earlier versions.
Next, iRadio has been in the works for years now and reportedly all of the contracts have been signed to make the launch official, so the question will just be if they decide to announce it publicly today and show how it works. Most sources say that they will speak about it and share how it compares to popular services today like Pandora and Spotify and why iRadio would be a better alternative to use.
The big news that everyone is waiting to hear about is the new iPhone 5S, iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 and Retina Display. Apple has tried to downplay that the new hardware devices would not be announced until later this year, however some think that they might do a surprise and show at least one of them off today.
Even if they don't do a full demonstration of a new device, just to see it and see how it integrates with iOS 7 would get a huge rise out of the crowd in San Francisco today.
With the competition like Samsung and others nipping at Apples feet and in many peoples eyes even passing up Apple for the time being, Apple might push for a bigger announcement of hardware and software then originally planned just to build excitement and remind the world how great Apple was and still can be (hopefully).
What do you guys think will be the biggest news from WWDC today?
