World of Warcraft players will be able to upgrade their versions of the game with the newest expansion entitled Warlords of Draenor by receiving an invite via email from Blizzard Entertainment for closed beta testing, starting June 27.

Only a select group of players from North America and Europe will be allowed to download the content of the new expansion which will be available from 2 pm PDT until further notice. These lucky players will test and report glitches, errors, or inconsistencies which will hopefully be resolved by the time the expansion fully releases to the masses.

The email sent out by the Californian gaming conglomerate read, "As a beta test participant, you'll experience the new content and features of Warlords of Draenor before the expansion is released," and, "Over the course of testing, you'll venture through the Dark Portal, establish your Garrison, and fight back against the Iron Horde!"

There is good news to those that did not receive an email like the one above, gameplay videos and screenshots are cleared for sharing online. There is a non-disclosure agreement that allows for the new content to be shared by the early testers.

Invites for this exclusive privilege were weighed heavily toward those who are long time WoW players, and those who have opted into the testing program via their Battle.net account.
