Wolverine 3 Movie Release Date, Plot Spoilers: Hugh Jackman to Depart Franchise

Hugh Jackman has hinted that he will probably appear as Logan, the 'invincible' mutant Wolverine, for the last time in 'The Wolverine 3' movie. The Australian actor has accepted the fact that there will come a time when he will let someone else continue on the role of Logan.

Last week, Marvel Comics, announced that its new book would include an event that will rob the superhero Wolverine of his power to heal himself, thereby allowing him to be killed off. It is believed that the comic book will be the precursor of things to come in the Wolverine movie adaptation.

So it is not surprising that while promoting his new movie "X-Man: Days of Future Past," some weeks back, Jackman offered some hints regarding his exit from the Wolverine series.

A recent report quotes Jackman as saying, "I'm sure they had the discussion. They didn't mention it to me, obviously! [Laughs] Look, that's inevitable, man. Anyone who thinks they're indispensable in this business is fooling themselves. But I feel unbelievably blessed to have this part."

He continued," I never thought in a million years I'd get to play him seven times. Every day I walk on the set with the claws and the hair, I thank my lucky stars. I don't take any of it for granted. To think that in a second version we'd have this cast and this director, and you guys don't know the script, but I would say probably the best script of all of them, is pretty amazing. I think that's why I'm still here. I'm sure by the way, that it won't always be my decision to always be here. At some point, someone will close the door on me... "

"Wolverine 3" (tentative tile) is scheduled for a March 3, 2017 release in the U.S.
