After Earth has been a huge dissapointment in box office numbers and ratings so far in the theaters. 

After Earth is expected to bring in only $25 million this weekend, which would be far below Fast & Furious 6 projected sales for this weekend. 

The first official trailer, people are saying is one of the worst trailers of all time in terms of getting people to want to watch a movie. It is basically just a cameo of Jaden Smith. 

Many are saying that Will Smith is trying too hard to present his son Jaden with opportunities to succeed. 

Jaden started in a remake of The Karate Kid and it never really went over with fans in a big way either. 

This movie can be portrayed a lot like I Am Legend and just revamping the role for his son. 

Smith has such strong charisma and talent that his son might just not have, at least to be a lead actor at his young age right now. 

After Earth got horrible reviews and also has rumors that it is an anti-Scientologist movie, much like Battlefield Earth in 2000.
