Wii U Sales Stabilize in Japan; PS Vita Beats Out 3DS for Second Straight Week
Wii U sales in Japan have stabilized, however now the PS Vita is besting the Nintendo 3DS in the last two weeks.
With this being said, Wii U Daily has compiled the latest data one what is currently hot in Japan, and of the top 10 games, Wii U did not have a single title.
Leading the charge in game sales is the PS Vita's Soul Sacrifice Delta with 48,786 sold. There are six 3DS titles in the top 10, with Pokemon X and Y rounding out the bottom with 10,708 sold, and over 10.5 million since its launch in October.
The PS3 game, Ar no Surge came in fifth, while Yakuza: Ishin came in seventh. One PS4 title was on the list, Knack, at number eight with over 17,000 games sold and over 393,000 in total since February.
Hardware sales were included in the report as well.
The PlayStation 4 came in at number one with 35,294 (65,685). PlayStation Vita beats out the 3DS for only the second week in a row at 31,325 (21,581). The 3DS handheld sold 24,192 (26,027), and the PS3 came in fourth. The Wii U was in sixth with only 7,773 sold.
