'White Collar' Season 6 Spoilers, Cast News: Neal Caffrey Background Revealed; Reasons for Just 6 Episodes Exposed

USA Network's famed police drama is renewed for its sixth season which will feature an in depth background of Neal Caffrey's life. White Collar's creator Jeff Eastin reassures fans that six episodes will be sufficient in closing out the show for its final season.

In his interview with Forbes, Eastin explained, "This one is actually kind of exciting because we have six. What I think about six episodes is it's like a miniseries. In my mind, you've got one really beautiful plot if you do it right. So that's how we're approaching it. We're looking at it as this White Collar miniseries that is going to really focus on one thing."

Caffrey, played by Matt Bomer, was abducted in the first episode of the fifth season entitled At What Price. It would be a treat for fans to see the character alive to return with more secrets to reveal. According to Natalie Abrams of TV Guide, Peter Burke's relationship with his former con and everything around them will not be the same as before. Tim Dekay's character will certainly feel the need to recover Caffrey at all costs.

"Unfortunately, Peter's acting talents will be further put to the test when he has to start a fight to create a diversion. Let's hope he's not just pretending he can throw a right hook!" Abrams wrote. Both DeKay and Bomer are excited to know what lies ahead on the final six episodes of the show, but confessed to TV Line that the story is going to be "wild".

"Everybody put their two cents in and we're vibing on it. I think we came up with something that's really fun and fitting. When I thought about it, it was really the only way we could end the show," Bomer added.

White Collar Final Season returns on USA Network sometime in Winter of 2015.
