WeTV Couple Erica And Warryn Campbell Honored At BMWK 2016 Standard Awards
The pair might have won multiple Grammy awards, but being honored by their peers is something that Erica and Warryn Campbell can forever cherish.
The WeTV star couple recently received recognition at the 2016 Black and Married with Kids (BMWK) Standard Awards for their contribution to the African-American community, and for being models of what a standing marriage should look like.
The 2016 honorees were chosen from the three categories: Celebrity Couples, Couples in Business and Couples in Ministry.
Erica and Warryn Campbell join ten other honorees at the 2016 BMWK Standard Awards. They are: Junious Mclean, Jr. and Joyce Auld; Drs. Victor and Sherry Blake; Carlos and Katherine Greene; Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete; Marshawn Evans and Jack Daniels; Che "Rhymfest" and Donnie Smith; Drs. Heavenly and Damon Kimes; Jamal and Natasha Miller; Ayize and Aiyana Ma'at and Rufus and Jenny Triplett.
Erica and Warryn Campbell are also the pastor and first lady of The California Worship Center in North Hollywood.
Erica and her husband Warryn will join couple Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo to attend the Master Sessions during the 2016 "I Create Music" Expo which takes place April 28-30.
The 2016 BMWK award is well-deserved, as Warryn and Erica Campbell are industry leaders in their field. His Block Records helped produce tracks for Kanye West, Missy Elliot, Alicia Keys, Yolanda Adams and Brandy.
"Her debut solo cd, the chart-topping 'Help,' earned the singer a Best Gospel Album Grammy," a press release said. A follow-up version of the cd, called "Help 2.0," became an instant best-seller, also landing at No. 1.
