Wes Chatham and Jenn Brown Baby Boy: 'Hunger Games' Actor Welcomes New Baby

The successful chart topping premiere of the 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' definitely had the cast and crew celebrating but apparently, there is more to celebrate for one cast member, Wes Chatham who plays Castor in the film. It's been a good month for him because he just had his first baby with wife and TV personality Jenn Brown.

Congratulations are definitely in order for the lovely married couple who were just recently at the Hunger Games' premiere in Los Angeles last November 17. Just a few days after, Brown finally gave birth last Monday at 5:33 pm.

In a statement to E! News, the couple shared their joy for their son. "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our son John 'Nash' Chatham. This love is more than we could have ever imagined and we are beyond blessed. We want to thank everyone for their love and support," Chatham and Brown said in a statement.

It probably is an exciting moment for the married couple especially since they have been anxious in seeing their son for the first time. Just a week before giving birth, the TV star Brown posted a photo of her ultrasound on Instagram. "I already love this face...can't wait to meet him #36weeks," the 33-year-old wrote.

The birth was a little earlier than expected since the couple announced earlier this year that they are expecting their baby in December. "We are overjoyed to be expecting our little one this December and the well wishes we received today means so much!!" they reportedly said.

Meanwhile, 'Hunger Games' is Catham's first major film that he landed a role on. Back in 2003, the actor landed a role on the film 'The Fighting Temptations' and a small role in the TV show 'Sleeper Cell' in 2005.

On a side note, Chatham and Brown got engaged in 2011 and tied the knot in 2012.
