'Wayward Pines' Season 2 Cast News: Jason Patric Joins As Dr. Theo Yedlin; Series Plot Details Unveiled
The psychological thriller series "Wayward Pines" is said to be returning to television this summer. While fans are still waiting for the exact date to be announced, it has been confirmed that Jason Patric will take part of the show.

The "Lost Boys" alum will portray the role of Dr. Theo Yedlin, a surgeon who wakes up after a "suspended animation," as per Deadline report.
The doctor will find himself in the middle of rebellion-the residents fighting against the First Generation's strong dictatorship. According to the site, his confidence and leadership skills will hold an important key to "help preserve the endangered human race."
As for Patric portraying the lead role, "Wayward Pines" director M. Night Shyamalan said that he fits the role. "Jason is an incredibly grounded and believable actor," he revealed. "I'm so excited for audiences to see what he brings to the world of Wayward Pines."
