The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 6 "Live Bait" Recap and Premiere
This week's episode of The Walking Dead took viewers down the road of memory lane. "Live Bait" started off with a flashback to the end of season 3, where the Governor is down and out after losing Woodbury and its people. He returns to his old town and sets it a blaze and does an epic walk off with "Wayfaring Stranger" playing in the background. Over a week's time he has grown a beard and more distraught.
Collapsed on the road the Governor sees a house with a young girl in the window, this is the family that will eventually take him and nurses him back to good health after his encounter with a couple of zombies.
After a conversation with the woman's daughter we see a clean cut Governor who waits with the woman and her daughter until her father passes away. The father reawakens as a zombie and the Governor smashes an empty oxygen tank into his head killing him for good.
Attempting to head out later that night, the Governor is approached by the Maggie lookalike who says they're going wherever he's headed. The Governor and the lookalike hit it off later on that night while sleeping in the back of a truck. The group awakens to truck that won't start and a group of zombies on the street running the group into the woods. While running the Governor and the young girl, Megan fall into a pit of zombies, but he takes them out with their bare hands and promises the girl that he will always protect her and then Martinez shows up, which ends the episode.
