Watch Dogs Release Date Announced by Ubisoft; Wii U Launch Not Revealed (TRAILER)

Watch Dogs' release date was announced for May 27 thanks to a leaked trailer and promo.

According to Polygon, Ubisoft's next big game was leaked through Xbox.com, and revealed to be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, 360, and Windows PC with a Wii U version coming later so Ubisoft could "focus the team's resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft," said CEO Yves Guillemot reported Joystiq.

IGN reported that the game's May 27 release would mean it received an extra six months of development after it was delayed from being available for the launch of the Xbox One and PS4. They also reported that the game was rumored to be releasing on June 30, which was hinted at by a pre-order option in the Sony Store, but that proved to be false.
