The full title for the upcoming and highly anticipated new MMORPG is 'Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade - Wars of Arkhona'. On that note, an official trailer was released for the game introducing the Factions involved in the War on Arkhona.

The release date for the new 'Warhammer' title has not been specified or confirmed, but according to the official game website, it will be released "Late 2015."

The new title is one of many in the 'Warhammer' franchise, which is not a strictly digital series of games. The roots of the franchise stem all the way back to the table top style version. Players use plastic models for the troops they control in the game, and at the same time get the chance to customize them with different colors and accessories.

Stepping back into the game, 'Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade' is a "3rd-person Massive Combat RPG." Gamers will have to choose a faction to stick with (featured in the new trailer) and progress through the game claiming territories in massive online battles. As their character gets stronger they can improve their skills in a system drawn from Warhammer 40,000 lore.

According to the official website, players will be able to choose from select races when they initially create their character, "At launch, there will be Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Orks, and Eldar. Tyranids will also be in the game, but only as NPCs. We aim to release the rest of the races from the universe over the lifetime of the game."

Additionally, the player will "also choose one of that race's sub-factions (Chapters, Legions, Clans, and Craftworlds) to identify with."

The upcoming 'Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade' is currently in development on PC, Mac, and SteamOS platforms.
