Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers, Rumors: Will Rain Love in Zombie Land, Says Creator
The cast of the horror drama television series "The Walking Dead" are returning to Atlanta to resume shooting for Season 5 of the hit ABC network show.
While filming of the hit zombie show is yet to begin, the creators and stars are already coming up with juicy spoilers, giving fans an idea of what they can expect in the upcoming episodes of their favorite show.
In the finale of Walking Dead Season 4, viewers witnessed Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) eventually managing to reach an apparent safe haven Terminus along with Carl, Daryl and Michonne. However, they moved into a container, as the inhabitants of the unknown settlement opened fire on them. That left many questions unanswered.
Recently, Scott Gimple, the creator of the show, has been teasing fans regarding the forthcoming season. In an interview with Larry King, he hinted that it would now rain love in the zombie land. He stated that the show will now take a different course when the survivors try to flee the Terminus.
According to a report in Fashionnstyle, Gimple told the audience of Larry's show, "The story that we're telling demands it. We're not going to shy away from character, but the balance will be a little more towards action."
Clarifying speculation regarding Daryl's search for love, Gimple said, "I would say that Daryl has already found familial love. If you're talking romantic love, I'm going to say, 'I think so.'"
In another interview with Comicbookresources.com, Gimple underlined the importance of storytelling, and abhorred the idea of simply killing important characters of the show.
He said, "You shouldn't do a death to shock people. People shouldn't live to shock people, either. It's all just part of the story and it should serve the story," adding, "And really, looking at it and playing out the stories, death didn't really serve the story we were telling. And then it was like, "Whoa, well that means nobody's gonna die in fifteen or sixteen!" And then it was very much like, "Well that's - awesome."
