The Walking Dead Season 4 ended on a major cliffhanger when Rick's group finally reached Terminus.  However, the slightest glimmer of hope was immediately dashed when they spotted signs of cannibalism.

Daryl was reunited with Rick and later on realized that the rest of the gang had a fate of being locked up in a train container.  Beth is still missing, and nobody knows what their fate in Terminus might be.

TWD Season 5 started filming just two months after the previous chapter ended in March.  Actor Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) has confirmed the AMC original zombie series has already begun their first shooting day in Atlanta.  Also producer Scott M. Gimple announced that Seth Gilliam will be joining the next series.  Also included in the Season 5 regulars will be the roles of Gareth, Tara, and Rosita.

Where is Beth?

One of the most puzzling events that happened in Season 4 was the disappearance of Beth Greene in Episode 13 Alone.  Seth Gilliam, who will be joining the cast as Father Gabriel, may have Beth in custody.  Some fans may see that as a safe warning, but TWD writers describe him as friendly person with a dark secret.

Meanwhile, Rick's group battle for survival and the possibility to earn a life in Washington is stalled when Gareth's group locked them up in a van.  Rumor has it that Terminus shares very similar descriptions of the The Hunters' sanctuary in TWD's original comic version.

The Hunters are known to attract survivors, offering them shelter only to contain them and kill them for food.  If the parallels are correct, then Season 5 will be seeing more bloody scenes and unexpected deaths of some major characters.
