'The Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers / New Trailer Shows Michonne In Trouble! Premiere Date October 13 on AMC.

AMC has released another trailer promo from The Walking Dead Season 4. This time it looks like warrior princess Michonne is in trouble.

In the preview it looks like Michonne is riding in to from a zombie campaign. Carl [Chandler Riggs] rushes to crank open the door and let her in. A couple straggler zombies follow her in through the first gate. Michonne slows her horse down to a stop and hops off to deal with the pests. Inside of whipping out her sword and slicing [her usual MO] she opts to take the zombies on by hand.

Hearing the skirmish Maggie rushes out to help.

In true John Wayne fashion, Carl grabs his shotgun and runs to aid his comrade.

Michonne struggles a bit to push back the invading zombies.

Cut to black.

The fact that I'm almost 100% sure Michonne makes it through the fight, makes me a little uneasy. Why would AMC choose this scene, as a trailer unless it was some kind of indication as for what's to come.   

What's the importance of the trailer? Does the minor zombie invasion distract the camp from some kind of other invasion? Possibly from the Governor?

I guess we'll just have to wait until The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere Sunday, October 13 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
