'The Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: New Promo Poster Released / New Threat to Rick and the Prison Gang? October 13 Premiere

The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere date is set for October 13 at 9 PM on AMC, and it couldn't come any sooner. To help tie fans over [or torture our imaginations] the guys and gals over at AMC just released a new promo poster for the new season.

Obviously the poster doesn't give us too much insight into Season 3 [why would it, that would be far too kind], but it does leave us with a few questions.

In the poster we see Rick, with a gun in his hand, looking down on the ground. We know he's on the prison grounds. It looks like some one or some thing has busted the barbed wire fence surrounding the prison down. But who? Or what?

We know from the end of Season 3, the Governor is on the loose and more delusional and sadistic as ever. He killed most of the citizens of Woodbery and doesn't seem likely to stop there.

In previous trailer promos for Season 4, we know that hordes of zombies are endangering the good guys safe haven at the prison. In one clip Glenn is having trouble holding up a fence against waves of walkers. For as long as the gang has been holed up and making noise at the prison, it's realistic that clumps of zombie would eventually break down the fences.

The creepy thing about the trailer is that it seems some other force drove the zombies to the prison. Could it be the Governor?

The series showrunners have hinted at a new threat in Season 4; a threat that can't be solved by just stabbing it in the brain.

The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere is set for October 13 at 9 PM on AMC.
