iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 Cheap Price: Sale Sees 40 Percent Discount at Walmart

Wednesday Wal-Mart made an announcement that the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s and 5c would be coming down in price.

As the new models of the Apple and Samsung phones near their arrival date, Wal-Mart is making it easier than ever to own a 5th generation iPhone, as well as its Samsung contemporary the S4.

The 16-gigabyte iPhone 5s has taken a sizeable step downward to $119. Formerly priced at $145, this model is now available from $119 with a contract of two years with either AT&T or Verizon.

If you're a 5c user don't feel left out. You'll be able to purchase the 5c with contract at $29! That's almost a 40% savings from its previous price at $45.

Many have speculated these price-cuts are an omen of an even sooner release date for the new iPhone. Estimated guesses had the phone coming in Fall, but these recent indications may point to a release date of somewhere in Spring, a time slightly irregular for Apple, who prefer autumnal debuts for their new generations of smartphone.

The Galaxy S4 has been dropped to $49 dollars down from $99. Any carrier contract for two years or more will be sufficient to receive the discount. Samsung has already given us a preview of what their newest model, the Samsung Galaxy S5, will look like, simultaneously announcing a release date of April for the phone.

Meanwhile, Best Buy has been making some rival offers on their smartphone selection, shelling out the 5s for $150, the 5c for $50, and the S4 for $50 as well.
