'The Voice': Danielle Bradbery Shines in Top 5 Performances on NBC, Becomes One to Beat, Amber Carrington & the Swon Brothers to Go Home?
"The Voice" was back tonight on NBC with the Top 5 performing.
Each contestant sang two songs tonight, one chosen by the contestant and one by the their judge.
Each of the Top 5 went back to their hometowns and visited their homes, did a hometown radio interview and a concert for their hometown crowd.
All of the contestants had good performances, especially Sasha Allen singing "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston and sang it about as strong as possible from someone other than Whitney herself.
But anyone who watched the full two hour episode knows that the night belonged to Danielle Bradbery.
Both of her performances were dead on but her second performance "Who I Am" by Jessica Andrews she picked and dedicated to her friends and family before she sang. During her performance, there were pictures of her childhood flashing up on the screen and she ended the performance by walking over to her parents in the stands.
It was an emotional moment as she sang about her mother being her best friend while she was standing beside her singing with her mom wiping away tears. You could not help but feel the emotions in the room and it was a great moment for Danielle.
Two contestants will be going home tomorrow night between Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel, Amber Carrington, Sasha Allen and the Swon Brothers.
My guess would be that Amber Carrington and the Swon Brothers would be the ones at highest risk of elimination.
Special guest Fall Out Boy will be performing tomorrow night on the results show.
Tune in tomorrow night to "The Voice" on NBC to see who makes it into the Top 3 for next week.
