'The Voice' 2013 Season 4 Top 6 Recap: Taylor Swift Makes 'Voice' 2013 Cameo / Sasha Allen Brings Sasha Fierce to "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood [VIDEO]

The Voice 2013 Top 6 Recap:

In last night's Top 6 performance episode of The Voice 2013 Season 4, each remaining singer sang two songs each: one they chose, and one chosen by their coach.

Team Usher's Michelle Chamuel probably had the most memorable moment of the night. Usher chose "Somewhere Only We Know" by British alt-pop band Keane. Though the song was perfect for Chamuel's range and style, it was hardly half as exciting as her personal song choice, "Trouble" by Taylor Swift. Voice judge, Usher apparently has some friends in high places, and convinced Tay Tay to guest mentor Chamuel. Having Swift as a coach definitely helped Chamuel's show-stopping performance.

Team Blake is poised for a Season 4 win with 3 remaining singers. Holly Tucker stayed in the country zone but got a little pitchy on Blake's choice: "When God-Fearin' Women Get the Blues" by Martina McBride. As a tribute to her parents Tucker chose, "My Wish" by the Rascal Flatts. Though it was better than her first song, it wasn't the usual powerhouse performance from Holly Tucker I'm used to.

The first song Danielle Bradbery sang was Blake's choice: "Shake the Sugar Tree" by Pam Tillis. It was pitch-perfect and worthy of making it to next week's episode. Her own song choice, "A Little Bit Stronger" by Sarah Evans was a little shaky, but Bradbery's cute smile and wide blue eyes should keep her safe.

As for The Swon Brothers? Big surprise they sang country. The brother duo chose "Wagon Wheel" while Blake chose "Okie from Muskogee" by Merle Haggard. Enough said.

Team Shakira and Adam both have one contestant remaining. Shakira's Sasha Allen sang "Ain't No Way" by Aretha Franklin [her song choice]. Sasha nailed the song and proved she is hands down the best singer left in The Voice 2013 Season 4. For her Shakira-picked song, the soulful Sasha Allen tried on a country song for size. As if the Aretha song wasn't enough, Sasha Allen channeled her inner Sasha Fierce for her take on country smash, "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood.

Amber Carrington is Team Adam Levine's only hope. Amber Carrington is about as solid and dependable as it gets. No she's not going to deliver show-stopping performances like Sasha Allen but she'll always deliver a consistent performance. Carrington too went country on both songs. Her personal choice "Crazy" by Patsy Cline sounded pretty much like the original, save a few notes. Even on the 80s hit, "I'll Remember You" by Skid Row, Amber tried to "coun-trify" the tune to fit in with the rest of the performers.
