'The Voice' 2013 Season 4: Top 10 Performance Recap / Josiah Hawley, Holly Tucker to Be Eliminated Tonight? [VIDEO]

The Voice 2013 update.

Ok who's it gonna be America? Last night's Top 10 performance episode on Season 4 of The Voice wasn't as shocking as it was strange. Some of the song selections were a little out of place. For example, I predicted yesterday, before the episode that Josiah Hawley singing "Clocks" by Coldplay just seemed like a bad idea from the start. Josiah, of course, sings for Team Usher. Maybe Usher wanted to see Josiah out of his country zone, performing something a little more contemporary. Unfortunately the performance was trite and stale.

No hard feelings Josiah.

Team Blake's Holly Tucker also had a bad night. I heard this girl sing "How Do I Live Without You" a couple weeks ago and though it was one of the best voice I'd ever heard in my life.

Last night Tucker sang the classic church hymn "How Great Thou Art" last night. It's always tough to be the first performer on stage. Though she sang the song well, she suffered from the same "nothing special" result as Josiah.

For last night's episode the only clear-cut standout performances came from Judith Hill, Sarah Simmons and Danielle Bradbery. Judith Hill took a chance with Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" and it paid off for Team Adam. Also singing for Adam Levine's team, Sarah Simmons performed Jessie J's "Mamma Knows Best". Though it seemed like a strange pick for Simmons, Adam's decision came through.

Team Blake's shining moment came with 16-year old Danielle Bradbery. The judge has a country strategy for this season of The Voice. On last night's episode it worked choosing "Heads Carolina, Tails California" for the young blonde singer.

Tune in to see which two singers get eliminated from The Voice 2013 Season 4 Top 10 results episode on NBC at 8/7c.
