'The Voice' 2013 Season 4: Elite Eight Revealed / New 'Voice' Judges Shakira, Usher Have One Remaining Contestant [VIDEO]

The Voice 2013 update!

In last night's episode America eliminated two guys from The Voice Season 4. Team Usher's Josiah Hawley and Team Shakira's Kris Thomas were sent packing. New Voice judges Shakira and Usher aren't off to a great start. Last night marked each judges's second elimination in a row.

Josiah Hawley was a little less surprising. Sure the boy's got a good voice and I'm sure his looks don't hurt, but nobody in their right mind would choose "Clocks" by Coldplay for this southern charmer.

I don't know if the song selection was Josiah or Usher's brainchild. Either way it was a misfire. One that cost him a one-way ticket home.

Now down to our elite eight, The Voice is starting to shape up very similar to American Idol 2013. With the exception of The Swon Brothers, the remaining contestants are all female. The year of the ladies! At least according to reality singing shows.

Here's your elite eight on The Voice 2013.

Team Adam: Judith Hill, Sarah Simmons, Amber Carrington

Team Blake: Holly Tucker, The Swon Brothers, Danielle Bradbery

Team Usher: Michelle Chamuel

Team Shakira: Sasha Allen

As you can see Team Usher and Shakira have their work cut out for them with only one remaining contestant. Seasoned Voice judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton each have three.

Tune in next week for The Voice 2013 Season 4 Elite Eight performance episode at 8/7c on NBC.
