The Voice 2013: Judges Adam Levine, Shakira Knockout Round Results / Usher, Blake Shelton in the Hot Seat Tonight
Last night, April 29, kicked off The Voice 2013 knockout rounds. The Voice judges had used all of their "steals" so if you weren't picked you went home. If you've never watched The Voice before, the knockout rounds are exciting. Each Voice judge (Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher and Blake Shelton) pair their singers into teams of two, sing-off, and then one is saved and one is sent home. Last night Adam Levine and Shakira were in the hot seat. The winners of the knockout rounds move on to the live shows next week.
Here's a recap of the Team Adam and Team Shakira's knockout round results from last night's episode of The Voice 2013.
First up was Amber Carrington singing "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne versus Midas Whale ("Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder). Amber Carrington advanced.
Also on Team Adam, Amy Whitcomb singing "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals against Caroline Glaser ("Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men). Caroline moves on to the live shows.
Adam Levine also advanced Judith Hill who sang "Always on My Mind" the Willie Nelson classic. Unfortunately Orlando Dixon's rendition of "All My Life" by K-Ci & JoJo wasn't good enough to sing next week.
The last singer to make it through on Team Adam was Warren Stone who blew away the audience with the 80s smash "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight".
Here's a recap of Shakira's winners on The Voice 2013.
Garret Gardner: "Too Close" by Alex Clare
Kris Thomas: "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong
Karina Iglesias: "Are You Gonna Go My Way" by Lenny Kravitz
Sasha Allen: "At Last" by Etta James
Tune into The Voice 2013 tonight to see the knockout rounds for Team Usher and Team Blake Shelton.
