The Virginia Cavaliers will clash with the Cleveland St Vikings on December 18 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The Cavaliers (9-0) will seek to lengthen their extraordinary winning streak to 10 games on Thursday night, following their recent 74-57 win versus the Virginia Commonwealth (aka VCU) Rams (on Saturday afternoon) despite Virginia guard Justin Anderson's 21 points, 8 rebounds and a block in the victory.

"I think it was we realized it was just time," said Anderson's teammate Anthony Gill to reporters.

"We all decided together as a team to just go out there and do it, play our defense and make them work on the defensive end, too."

Virginia head coach Tony Bennett expressed his thoughts regarding his squad's overall commanding performance against the Rams, which sealed the aforementioned win for the Cavaliers.

"I told our guys before the game, 'Play against the game. Don't get caught up in the circumstances and the emotion of it'," said Bennett to reporters.

"That can distract you. If you come in here and get caught up in, 'Hey, they got us last year,' or 'Hey, they're so good' -- I said, 'Just play'."

Meanwhile, the Vikings (5-5) are looking to lengthen their winning streak to two games when they battle the Cavaliers at the John Paul Jones Arena.

Cleveland St recently defeated the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars by a final score of 86-40 on December 15, where Vikings guard Trey Lewis scored 32 points in order to propel his team to the victory.
