The internet brought us yet another photo leak to get people talking. 

A photo that appeared it could be the new HTC One from Verizon came from @evaleaks. 

@Evaleaks is infamous for leaking pictures and this one came with the simple twitter wording, "HTC One, for Verizon". 

Only a silver phone is shown in the picture, but will most likely have other options of finishes when the phone officially launches.  

Verizon's official news twitter handle did tweet last month, "It's coming - the HTC One will be available on the #Verizon Wireless 4G LET network later this summer". So it would make sense that a picture would be leaked soon after. 

Another interesting note about the picture is the date on the phone, Thursday Sept 5. Of course if this is a bogus picture, then it doesn't mean anything, but if the picture is a legit leak, maybe they are giving a little foreshadowing on the future release date of Verizon's HTC One. 

Whether the picture is legit or not, along with Verizon's official twitter statement, there is another interesting change that proves the HTC One is on the way. 

Verizon's HTC Droid DNA has had its price recently dropped, which would lead to believe that they are trying to sell more of the DNA phone before it is replace by a new phone. The DNA is now available for $49.99 with a two year contract. 

Verizon is the last major U.S. carrier to pick up the HTC One, with Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile already carrying them. 

No official release date for the new HTC One for Verizon has been released.
