Venus Williams News: Tennis Superstar Receives Diploma from Indiana University

Star Tennis player Venus Williams is proving to the world that she is more than just a professional athlete but she is also a well-respected intellectual business college graduate. Just recently the famous Tennis star revealed that she has picked up her diploma from Indiana University with a degree on Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

Apparently, while many might have been focusing on her athletic career, well of course they would since it would be hard not to focus on her phenomenal performance while in the U.S. Open, she apparently enrolled in the University last 2011 and have been taking online classes to complete her degree program.

And just last August, the tennis star had to go to Cincinnati at the Richmond, Indiana campus to finally receive her diploma. After which, the star released a statement announcing her proud achievement. "I've learned so much," Williams stated in a press release.

"It was always my dream to have a business degree, and I ended up going to art school so many times, but in the back of my head I felt like I needed the tools to be a better leader, to be a better planner, to be better at all of the things I wanted to do in my businesses because I'm so hands-on," she added.

Indeed Williams have proven to everyone that she can practically do everything not to mention her associate degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in 2007.

Of course, she wouldn't be really famous if it weren't for her athletic achievements as well where she gained a couple of U.S. Open titles already. There is indeed nothing that can stop Williams then from achieving and even living her dreams now. Congratulations to the new college graduate! Next up, second round in the U.S. Open.
