VaShawn Mitchell Performs Live on Tom Joyner’s Morning Show Tomorrow, Friday, October 19
Six-time Stellar Award winner and GRAMMY®-nominated recording artist VaShawn Mitchell partners with Denny's for Tom Joyner's Take a Loved One to the Doctor Day in Philadelphia tomorrow, Friday, October 19 at the Liacouras Center, on the campus of Temple University, located at 1776 Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. Mitchell and Johnny Gill will perform in front of an expected crowd of over 5,000 attendees. Mitchell's performance will be broadcast live at 8:00 a.m. EST on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. He will also be on hand to sign autographs for his fans.
On Saturday morning, October 20, Mitchell will return to the Liacouras Center for the second day of activities for the Tom Joyner's Take a Loved One to the Doctor event. He will join Tamela and David Mann and Les Brown on the main stage for a series of activities. His performance will also be broadcast on the Tom Joyner Morning Sky Show at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Mitchell's new CD, Created 4 This,moves up to #4 this week on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. The first single from the CD, "Turning Around For Me," continues to build at radio, charting at #14 on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart.
