Vanessa Lachey News: Former TV Host Talks Husband Nick Lachey on the Family
Former 'Beauty and the Geek' host and a beauty herself, Vanessa Lachey recently updated everyone about her current status as a mother of two as she recently gave birth to her daughter with husband Nick Lachey.
Vanessa talked all about motherhood, family life and being a wife to the 98 degrees singer. And basing from her statements, Vanessa seemed like she's having the time of her life despite how hard it is to juggle several people in her life, count them, three.
Of course there's two-year-old Camden, and their second child Brooklyn who they just welcomed last January and when asked about how she is handling two children and a husband, Vanessa says its fine but it's different.
"The second [child] has been different just in the sense that it's nonstop, but I love that," the 34-year-old star and second-time mother said. "It's busy and it's chaotic, but...it's what I've wanted and it's all I know right now and on top of all of that, I have the most amazing supportive husband."
Indeed a supportive husband like Nick would be a lot of help which Vanessa absolutely appreciates. "I one-thousand percent know I couldn't have done this without him," she said. "And that's why I married the guy. It's a partnership and when he's busy in New York, I'm on mommy duty one-hundred percent and when he comes back, we share the duty and when I'm doing stuff he's on daddy duty one-hundred percent," she added.
And with so many Hollywood married couples who are divorcing from left to right, it is refreshing to see that the two are going strong even with two children on their hands. And Vanessa just revealed their secret weapon: date nights.
"We do have date nights and we try to make that a priority...Last night, we made it a point to get dressed, go out to dinner and truth be told, sometimes you're just so exhausted the thought of putting on makeup and getting dressed and putting on heels is the last thing you want to do. But once you're in the car, and out of the house, then you're appreciative of it...it's something that you need to put as a priority and it's something you need to make happen," she said.
And so the two continue to be great partners and parents to their two children, and if they are blessed with another one, Vanessa says, "If we're blessed with no. 3, it's just going to be that much more exciting. If it happens, it happens!"
