In 'Vampire Diaries' Season 6, Episode 5, fans witnessed an emotional upheaval as all the characters on show were trying their best to overcome the deaths of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) in the Season 5 finale.

It is expected that this level of sadness will also be seen in the upcoming episode, entitled "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get."

The synopsis of Episode 6 says viewers will now see Alaric (Matt Davis) soliciting Elena's (Nina Dobrev) help with a view to unearth more dirt on Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). Some might think that Alaric does this because everything he has done so far has had little to effect on Jo.

Viewers can expect to see Elena and her gang try to find out Jo's secret and who she really is, in the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, the major concern for the Mystic Falls gang right now is Tripp (Colin Ferguson), the Founding Family member, who has Ivy (Emily Chang) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) under his control.

Although the blonde vampire, Caroline (Candice Accola), totally dismissed Stefan (Paul Wesley) in Episode 5, she will now be forced to work along with Stefan and Matt (Zach Roerig) with a view to save Enzo before Tripp comes to know their real identities.

What's strange is that Tripp possesses an arsenal of weaponry with which he'll try to get Enzo to start talking.

According to the synopsis, Caroline, Stefan and Matt are not the only people who will be probing Tripp in 'Vampire Diaries' Season 6, Episode 6.

Elsewhere, a long lost relative of Salvatore, Sarah (Gabrielle Walsh) will break into the former's office to probe her past. It will be interesting to know what she is searching for and what she will discover about the Salvatore family.

The synopsis also teases that Elena will be "forced to deal with the consequences of her actions." In episode 5 of the show, Bonnie succeeded in sending Damon back to the land of the living, and this makes one believe that Elena will be struggling to cope with her feelings for Liam (Marco James), even as she will be missing her memories of Damon.

Season 6 Episode 6 of 'The Vampire Diaries' will air on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 8.00 pm EDT on The CW.
