Last night's episode of The CW's popular show "Vampire Diaries" was full of surprises, particularly for Enzo, who is now part of the other side. As the season winds down, many fans are wondering what will happen next. For spoilers from "Vampire Diaries" executive producer Caroline Dries, read on.

Dries spoke to reporters after a screening of episode 19, according to TV Guide. She addressed what Enzo may do now that he is on the other side. According to Dries, Enzo will not be doing things similar to The Travelers.

"They're two separate things, which if we were slightly more clever we would've found a way to make it all happen," she said.

Dries went on to clarify what The Travelers are trying to do, and how that is different than the other side.

"But what we were trying to do is give The Travelers the simplest goal in the world, which is a place to call home. The other side component is more of our desire to get rid of it. Moving forward, when characters do die it's deadsville," the executive producer explained.

Dries also spoke a bit about what fans can expect in the season finale of "Vampire Diaries." Apparently Bonnie will be a central character at the end of the season.

"Pushing towards the finale, they have a united cause because the Travelers are trying to rip away their home and this is something they rally around. The question is: What will happen to Bonnie and our friends who are over there? Do they just go away like Vicki did?" she hinted.

Dries went on to say that the finale will be eventful, though she remained tight lipped about the details.

"When you see the finale, this giant thing happens," she said.

"Vampire Diaries" airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
