‘Vainglory’ Release Date on Apple iOS Later this Month: New MOBA Style Game Breaks Gaming Barriers
Veering from the usual way of playing MOBA style games on PC's or other gaming consoles, game developer Super Evil Megacorp is set to release their new MOBA game, 'Vainglory', to iOS devices later this month.
MOBA or Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games require a multitude of screen commands and scrolling, making it a bit hard to play on mobile phones. But Super Evil Megacorp modified and simplified some aspects of the game to make it more player-friendly for the user on his or her iOS gadget.
Instead of the usual 5-player team in a MOBA game, the developers modified it so as to allows three players to make up one team.
In addition, each match will only be allowed to last until 20 minutes, compared to other games, which can last up to 45 minutes or more.
Also, the movements will be limited to the smartphones' touch screen interface, so there will only be one lane where the opposing teams can push against.
The MOBA iOS version of 'Vainglory' is compatible with the iPhone 5s or higher, and is already available for download in Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
For those who are living in Europe, the game will be available for download on November 13, while the expected release in Africa, Middle East, North and South America is on November 18.
Game developers of the Super Evil Megacorp are from Rockstar, Blizzard, and Riot, so players can expect that it will be a smooth transition from PC and other gaming consoles to users' iOS devices.
