2014 has seen a lot of tech giants releasing one smartphone after another with varying features that cater to a wide spectrum of consumers. Soon there will be phones that cater to any consumer need, from fitness-focused phones to business-oriented devices.

With the large number of smartphones being released in quick succession, it has become hard for consumers to choose which phone they want to get.

One of the most anticipated phones coming out before the holiday season will be the iPhone 6. Apple has been leading the smartphone industry since its introduction of the first iPhone, but ever since, innovation has been lacking and competitors are slowly catching up. Unlike Apple's iOS or Samsung's Android OS, the Lumia runs on the Windows 8.1 OS, making it a unique contender in the smartphone market.
