UFC 2015 News, Rumors: Rousey & McGregor Together for Potential Dallas Fight Card?

Despite losing some of its biggest names recently, the UFC roster is still filled with tremendous talent, but none of those names are bigger than UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor and UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. The UFC is full aware of that, and is apparently keen on putting those two in a fight card that could potentially be the promotion's biggest ever.

"Yeah, I'd like to put her on that card, and that card is probably going to be in Dallas, Texas," UFC president Dana White said during UFC 190's post-fight press conference.

As reported by Yahoo Sports, White also said that the company is aiming for a December date for a card at the AT&T Stadium"”a massive venue that can hold 80,000 spectators.

White mentioned that UFC 190 was trending than the record breaking UFC 189 card, which did a million buys on pay-per-view.

After finishing her last two opponents in just 30 seconds combined, Rousey needed a bit more time - 34 seconds - to knockout Brazilian contender Bethe Correia in the UFC 190 main event.

Previously, McGregor gave high praise to Rousey, perhaps prophesizing that the two of them would eventually headline the same card.

"As far as the women's game, she has created the women's game. Without her, all these women would be still going without food at night. So she is running her side of the game," the Irishman said.

"On the man's side of the game there's only one, and that is me. I hold every number in the game: highest gate, the highest pay-per-view of the new era, the highest attended weigh-ins, the highest viewing figures on FOX, the highest subscription on Fight Pass. Every single record I have, at 27 years of age, so I am running the numbers game."

Should a December card be booked in Dallas, it is expected that it would feature the title unification fight between UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo against McGregor, and the third title fight between Rousey and Miesha Tate.
