The Connecticut Huskies will face the Bryant Bulldogs on November 14 at the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut.

The defending 2014 NCAA Champion Huskies are expecting to begin their 2014-2015 season with a win when they host the Bulldogs on Friday night.

UCONN head coach Kevin Ollie revealed his thoughts regarding his talented rookie shooting guard Daniel Hamilton before the freshman makes his Huskies debut against the Bulldogs.

"He has a point guard's mentality. The way he sees the whole floor and gets everyone involved. I saw he had that vision the first time I saw him play. He's a great player," said Ollie to reporters.

Hamilton also discussed his thoughts about whether or not he will start when he makes his NCAA debut in front of the UCONN fans at home.

"My goal is to be versatile. I want to do it all, do whatever I can do for the team," said Hamilton to reporters.

The Huskies are looking to build upon their remarkable (32-8) record from last season, highlighted by UCONN winning 15 out of their 18 games in the American Athletic Conference during the 2013-2014 campaign.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are looking to upset the current NCAA Tournament Champions when they encounter the best team in college basketball (the Connecticut Huskies) at the place where ex-UCONN head coach Jim Calhoun "built."

Bryant is trying to build upon their previous (18-14) record, accentuated by the Bulldogs winning 10 out of their 16 games in the Northeast Conference last season.
