Some interesting predictions have surfaced after viewers got the chance to watch one of the latest segments of 'True Blood' Season 7, Episode 8 "Almost Home."

In the episode, Sookie's death defying attempt to save Bill is unsuccessful, as he still refuses to drink the Hep V, which is the cure for his illness. Now with his demise slowly creeping upon him, many fans speculate that Sookie will end up with Eric instead.

The preview for Episode 9 showed how upset Sookie got when Bill refused to take the cure, so she gave it to Sarah instead.

"She is your fate, she is your destiny," Sookie said as she slapped him in the face. Sookie definitely has the right to be furious at Bill since this is the second time she has risked her life trying to save his. As fans can recall, the first occurrence of this happening was when she went to Fangtasia.

Regardless, Bill decided that his choice was best for all parties involved.

The official synopsis of this week's episode, according to HBO, is as follows:

"Sookie (Anna Paquin) weighs a future with and without Bill (Stephen Moyer). Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee). Sam (Sam Trammell) makes a choice, while Andy (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance."

Next week, Bill will try to convince Sookie that she deserves to have everything. Sookie will try to convince Bill to take the cure, but there's no certainty in that.

'True Blood' finale, 'Thank You', will air on Aug. 25 on HBO.
