Trip Lee's 'Rise' Coming October 28; Single 'Shweet' Release, Pre-orders Available September 23 (VIDEO)

Trip Lee will be releasing his new album Rise on October 28, and the first single "Shweet" has already been released.

Pre-orders of the album are available beginning September 23, and Trip Lee is hoping people take the Rise message and "experience life to the fullest."

"Rise has a lot of different meanings," he said in a press release, "It's a call-to-action to rise from the dead and actually live. We're born spiritually dead, and I'm calling for everyone to become spiritually alive. Secondly, don't wait until later to live the way you were created. God created you to honor Him, find joy, and serve others. Don't sleep on that. Lastly, rise above the low expectations people have."

"I wanted it to be light and playful to a degree," Trip Lee admitted, "I talked about my life and growing up in Dallas. Then, it switches up. So many rappers talk about themselves and how amazing they are. What if when I brag, I'm not talking about me, but I use everything in my life to point to God and honor him? That was the idea. I point to how great He is."

The rapper will be on this year's Winter Jam Tour along with Jerey Camp, Disciple, Newsong, and many more artists.
