Jury goes into second day of deliberations of whether or not to convict George Zimmerman of murder in the Trayvon Martin case; Parents ask for justice

Jurors are currently in deliberation over the verdict of George Zimmerman; they are deciding where his fatal act was in self defense or whether it was man slaughter.

On Feb. 26, 2012, George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, shot teen, Trayvon Martin, while Martin was walking in Zimmerman's neighborhood.

The jury consist of 6 women and have the options of a quitting Zimmerman, convicting him of second-degree murder, or convicting him of man-slaughter in the case.

The case of Martin's death became national news a week after his passing, as many across the nation are outraged and consider this an act of racism. Martin was wearing a light colored hoodie, which was the reason Zimmerman shot him.

Dispite pressure from the public to convict Zimmerman, Judge Debra Nelson made it clear to the Jury that they must find, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Zimmerman is guilty of the crime.

"You just presume innocence. The state must prove that the alleged crime was committed. Its up tot he state to prove his guilt, "Judge Nelson said.

Sabrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, Martin's parents, are wanting to seek justice for their son.

"Justice, to me, would be for the person who killed our son to be held accountable and for all the evidence to come out and for, you know, a jury to hear everything that happened that night of February 26," Fulton said to NBC News.
